VIROO 3.0 incorpora despliegue de aplicaciones standalone y nuevas herramientas para desarrolladores XR

New release introduces standalone deployment, a new management hub and new developer-friendly tools to streamline enterprise XR adoption.

Bilbao, Spain, July 7, 2025 — Marking a pivotal evolution in its enterprise XR platform, the pioneer in 3D-driven enterprise software Virtualware (EPA:ALVIR), launches VIROO 3.0.  Designed to centralize operations, empower developers, and simplify deployment, this new version offers a suite of innovations tailored for organizations building and deploying immersive applications at scale.

Standalone deployment

VIROO 3.0 now officially supports standalone VR apps for Android-based headsets such as Meta Quest, HTC, and Pico. For the first time, organizations can deploy immersive apps directly to headsets, eliminating the need for PCs.

Users can now create or join multi-user sessions from within the headset, enabling seamless collaboration across devices.

«VIROO 3.0 reflects years of customer feedback and practical use cases. Our focus has been on removing friction: centralized management, simplified deployment, and giving developers the tools they need to work faster and deliver more. We’re removing technical barriers and letting organizations scale XR with the devices and workflows that suit them best” – said Alberto Carlier, VIROO Product Marketing Manager.

Simplifying content creation with VR Studio

Developers will find a significantly upgraded VR Studio, now compatible with Unity 6.  The new updates aim to reduce time-to-deployment and lower the technical barrier to creating immersive apps (a brand-new toolbar with drag & drop components, built-in dashboard that supports account login and app uploads directly from the Unity Editor, visual scripting  assembly sequences, and more)

VIROO 3.0 also enhances the Single Player with improvements to the UI, updated controller visuals, and controller tooltips for guidance. In addition to these new capabilities, VIROO 3.0 introduces VIROO Cloud, a new web-based control hub that lets you manage and stay informed about everything related to your VIROO apps, users, roles, and platform updates. From a centralized interface, administrators can oversee profiles, assign permissions, and access resources. This foundation ensures that as organizations scale their XR deployments, they retain full operational control and visibility.

Growing the developer community

To support the global developer ecosystem, VIROO is launching a new Discord channel with sections for updates, Q&A, and community projects. Updated documentation, including video tutorials and compliance guidance available.

“The launch of VIROO 3.0 marks a turning point for enterprise XR adoption,” said Alberto. “With standalone deployment and simplified multi-user app creation, it’s now easier than ever for organizations to integrate XR into their workflows and scale it across teams. VIROO is evolving to meet the real needs of industry.”
