Virtualware joins the Automotive Parts Manufacturer’s Association
The APMA is Canada’s national association representing OEM producers of parts, equipment, tools, supplies, advanced technology, and services for the worldwide automotive industry. Founded in 1952, the association and its members account for 90% of independent parts production in Canada. In 2018, automotive parts shipments were over $35 Billion, and the industry employment level was over 100,000 people.
With more than 15 years of expertise providing cutting-edge immersive and interactive custom solutions for global companies, Virtualware joining APMA will help to spread the value and implementation of cutting-edge technologies across the Canadian automotive manufacturing sector.
Virtualware also joined APMA’s board of directors in the new 4.0 Industry committee, to expand the influence of Canadian technology in the global auto industry.
Representatives from APMA member companies meet regularly to discuss ongoing issues and challenges they face in their daily operations. The point of the committee is to help develop and share information on best practices with each other to ensure consistency of implemenation and growth among members.
