VIROO & HTC VIVE University Grant Now Open
Virtualware and HTC VIVE have designed the VIROO & HTC VIVE University Grant program to support US institutions that want to lead in digital engineering, industrial innovation, workforce development, and rapid product design through the integration of Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and digital twins.
This joint initiative is now accepting applications from eligible universities and university-affiliated research institutions looking to transform existing spaces into innovation and economic development hubs powered by cutting-edge immersive technology.
What’s Included in the Grant?
Selected institutions will receive up to $500,000 worth of hardware, software, and services to equip a room and turn it into a fully immersive XR collaboration and training center.
“Universities are evolving into engines of innovation and economic development. Shared infrastructure like this enables immersive problem-solving and rapid prototyping across disciplines.”
Thomas C. Merrick, Associate Director of VR/AR Initiatives at the University of Miami
