Virtualware joins the National Center for Simulation

MEMBER OF THE National Center for Simulation

Virtualware has become member of the Orlando-based National Center for Simulation (NCS), joining hundreds of industry members in the modelling, simulation, and training (MS&T) community.

Virtualware will leverage NCS membership to develop innovative partnerships supporting complex VR simulators for training, introducing Virtualware Immersive Room (VIROO): a VR solution for full-scope field training that allows companies, institutions and universities to replicate multi-user scenarios in 1:1 scale, transforming any physical location into a full immersion center.

With more than 15 years of expertise providing cutting-edge immersive and interactive solutions for global companies, Virtualware joining NCS will help to spread the value and implementation of VR training solutions across the MS&T sector.

This partnership will help Virtualware to introduce VIROO,  the complete solution that enables to train several units based in different locations but in the same large-scale virtual environment.  Virtualware Immersive Room, also improves the individual, team and unit-level performance in real situations, but also reduces the investment in physical replicas and even the expenses of bringing the units together to one location for training.

“We are committed to help companies meet their challenges in levelling up their workforce training to improve professionals’ capabilities and reduce operational costs through VR technology. NCS is a strong leader that allows us to generate synergies with the main players of MS&T looking to innovate”

David Moreno, Head of Marketing & Business Development .

“We are excited to have Virtualware join NCS, as we continue to expand our national and international reach in order to promote and support the growth of our membership companies. We believe we are in a strong growth period over the next five years to facilitate modelling, simulation and training (MS&T) technology and companies like Virtualware with innovative solutions provide great opportunities for partnerships”

Neal Finkelstein, COO of NCS .

In the nuclear sector, GEH is already using it for training complex processes contributing to the improvement of professionals’ capabilities and the reduction of both costs and risks. VIROO enables workers to train in fuel movement operations, using a physical replica of the necessary equipment connected directly to the virtual environment.
